The Masked Singer says good-bye to Anteater and Candelabra and fans can't believe it

The remaining members of Group C took the stage on The Masked Singer, with Anteater and Candelabra getting unmasked and Donut getting the nod to move on to the finale of the Fox hit.

Season’s Greetings From The Masked Singer!

On the penultimate episode of The Masked Singer, it came down to Candelabra, Anteater and Donut.

The night started with the singers performing songs that make up the “soundtrack of my life.” Candelabra blew the judges away with  Mary J. Blige’s I’m Going Down and Anteater gave a solid performance of Johnny B. Goode by Chuck Berry.

But it was Donut who got both the fans and judges emotional by singing Ray Charles’ Georgia On My Mind.

After the audience voted, it was Anteater who was first to be unmasked and it was none other than John Oates of Hall & Oates fame.

“Maneater to Anteater,” he quipped before saying it was one of the “best things he’s ever done.”

While a lot of fans were shocked at the reveal, many were shocked by the timing since he is currently embroiled in a legal battle with Daryl Hall.

“Holy s**t, John Oates on the Masked Singer…,” wrote one fan on X (formerly Twitter).

“Weird timing considering the John Oates is the Anteater on Masked Singer,” wrote another questioning the timing of the lawsuit.

Next up, Donut and Candelabra took part in the Battle Royale, leaving the judges to have to submit their final picks and choose who would move on to the finale.

Sadly Candelabra was sent home.

Ultimately, both Robyn Thicke and Nicole Scherzinger both guessed the identity of the Candelabra being Keisha Cole. And fans were not happy to see her go home.

“Yall are you actually kidding me right now??? The candelabra is a much better singer and a show being called 'the masked SINGER' you'd think they would vote for the better vocals,” wote one fan.

“Oh hellllll no Keyshia Cole was ROBBED WTF,” fumed another.

The season finale of The Masked Singer airs Wednesday, December 20, on Fox.
