New Year’s Eve has finally arrived, and whether 2023 was a year that was good or bad to people all round the world, 2024 is finally on the horizon.

The new year will also bring several TV specials to help usher in the end of one year and the beginning of another.

Whether you’re eager to bid farewell to all things 2023 or not, with all of the specials airing around the same time, it could be difficult to settle on one and decide which is the right fit for saying goodbye to the year.

To help make the decision on which to watch a little easier, here’s a handy guide to all the specials that are airing and which talent will be featured–both live and pre-recorded–at each.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2024

Live on ABC from 8:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.-2:00 a.m.

The show will feature five different celebrations this year, with different hosts and performers in each locale.

In New York, Ryan Seacrest is going to be joined by Rita Ora, as well as a bevy of performers.

In Hollywood, Jeannie Mai is going to oversee the festivities as hostess, and will be joined in performances by a star-studded lineup.

Acts performing there will include:

  • Aqua: singing Barbie Girl and Doctor Jones
  • Doechii: singing What It Is and Persuasive
  • Ellie Goulding: performing Miracle and Midnight Dreams
  • Green Day: honoring the 30th anniversary of hits Basket Case and Welcome to Paradise, 20th anniversary of American Idiot and Holiday, and sharing the live debut of the new song Dilemma.
  • Janelle Monáe: singing Champagne S**t and Haute.
  • Loud Luxury, Two Friends and Bebe Rexha: performing If Only I.
  • Ludacris: singing a multisong performance medley honoring the 10-year anniversary of his single Stand Up.
  • Nile Rogers (and CHIC): performing Le Freak, Get Lucky, Everybody Dance, Good Times and Rapper’s Delight.
  • Paul Russell: performing Lil Boo Thang.
  • Renee Rapp: Singing Talk Too Much , as well as Tummy Hurts with Coco Jones.
  • Thirty Seconds to Mars: performing The Kill, Stuck and Seasons.

In Puerto Rico, Dayonara Torres is returning as a co-host and will be joined by Ivy Queen for a performance.

In addition, Post Malone will rock with a special performance from Las Vegas, and for the first time ever, a performance in South Korea will also be a part of the festivities, as K-pop group NewJeans takes to the stage

New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash

Live on CBS from 7:30-10:00 p.m. and 10:30-1:05 a.m.

This show, airing from Nashville, will be hosted by Elle King and Rachel Smith, with Cody Alan and Lonnie Quinn checking in from Times Square in New York. It will also feature more than 50 performances from a ton of artists.

The artists taking the stage will include Trace Adkins, Grace Bowers, Kane Brown, Jackson Dean, HARDY, Cody Johnson, Old Dominion, Parker McCollum, Megan Moroney, Brothers Osborne, Jon pardi, Carly Pearce, Thomas Rhett, Blake Shelton, Trombone Shorty, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson and Bailey Zimmerman.



CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen

Live on CNN from 8:00 p.m.-12:30 a.m.

Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen once again team up for their annual special.

They are being joined by an all-star lineup of performers and celebrity guests making appearances.

They will include Darius Rucker, Enrique Iglesias, Flo Rida, Jonas Brothers, Maroon 5, Miranda Lambert and Rod Stewart.
