The Masked Singer viewers have discovered the shocking identity of Hawk - Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey.

In this week's Halloween special, it was Harry Potter-themed episode and each contestant had to be sorted into a house by the Sorting Hat.

Hawk, who was obviously put into Ravenclaw, put on a good show but failed to make it through to the next round of the contest.

Host Nick Cannon had to help the big bird get their mask off, and the judges were stunned when Maid in Manhattan star Tyler was revealed.

The judges had a bit of a shocker as none of them got the right answer, with the four guessing Hawk was actor Cole Sprouse or Billy Joe Armstrong from Green Day.

Earlier in the evening, Hawk had the Sorting Hat put on their head, and was placed into Ravenclaw house.

The hat stated: "Ah yes, a ready mind, you belong in...Ravenclaw!"

After the decision, Hawk exclaimed: "It makes a lot of sense that I'm Ravenclaw as I was a good student. At least you saw me on TV pretending to be."

The clue prompted judge Robin Thicke to suspect that Hawk might be actor Ryan Phillippe, who played crafty high school students in I Know What You Did Last Summer and Cruel Intentions.

But it was Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg who won outfit of the night in her sensational Albus Dumbledore costume.

McCarthy-Wahlberg also posted a video of herself in her get-up behind-the-scenes with Scherzinger, before dancing around to drum and bass music.
