My Life with the Walter Boys made its international debut on Netflix on Thursday, December 7, bringing author Ali Novak’s best-selling book of the same name to life.
The teenage drama sees 15-year-old Jackie Howard (played by Nikki Rodriguez) move to Colorado to live with her guardian Katherine Walter (Sarah Rafferty), her husband and their 10 children.
While still grieving for the loss of her parents, it isn’t too long before she finds herself in a love triangle with brothers Alex (Ashby Gentry) and Cole Walter (Noah LaLonde).
Keeping an eye from a brotherly perspective, ensuring she settles nicely into her new home is the eldest of the brothers Will Walter (Johnny Link).

Will is meant to be 21 years old in the drama but in real life, actor Link is a little older than his character counterpart.
He was born on January 24, 1994, making Link 29 years old and eight years older than Will on the Netflix series.
He isn’t the only actor who plays a character younger than themselves either in My Life with the Walter Boys.

Jackie Howard is 15 in the drama, whereas the actress Nikki Rodriguez is 21 years old.
Netflix confirms Alex on the other hand is 16 while star Ashby Gentry is 22, and his co-star Noah LaLonde who is behind 17-year-old Cole, is 25.
Link trained at Penn State University before relocating to New York to develop his acting career and got his first TV role earlier this year in the Apple TV+ series Dear Edward.
Much like his character, Link also has moderate to severe sensorineural hearing loss in both ears and uses hearing aids in real life.
In My Life with the Walter Boys, Will is engaged to Hayley (Zoe Soul) who he is head over heels in love with but they call off their engagement due to miscommunication over the wedding finances.
Thankfully, they were able to resolve their issues and had a wonderful wedding that the entire family enjoyed.
However, Hayley received a mysterious message from someone called Morgan but who is it and will they have an impact on her relationship with Will?
