Joy Behar is the last remaining original panelist on The View - but the 81-year-old will be missing in action this week. Here's why and when she's back.

The View will be missing one of their key ladies this week with Joy Behar missing in action.
The 81-year-old TV show host - who is the last remaining original member of the panel - will be absent for the entire week.
On Tuesday's episode of the talk show, Whoopi Goldberg confirmed why Joy wouldn't be able to make it in.
"Joy is out this week," Goldberg told cameras and the studio audience.
"You know why? She finally got Covid. Three years… four years in… it finally got her.”

The rest of the group made light of the situation, with Sara Haines saying the comic can 'stop bragging' about avoiding the pandemic for so long.
Sunny Hostin added that Joy had claimed she had a 'special blood type' that had stopped her from getting the virus.
For her first missing appearance, Joy was replaced by Community actress and regular replacement panelist, Yvette Nicole Brown.
Yvette marked the moment by announcing her engagement to actor Anthony Davis live on air.

Joy is yet to make a comment about her wellbeing.
Her replacements for the rest of the week have not been confirmed either.
However, typically the Friday show is pre-recorded, so it's believed for continuity Yvette will remain for the rest of the week.
On Thursday (December 13) they will be joined by the cast of new movie musical, The Color Purple - a film which holds particular sentiment to Whoopi, who starred in the non-musical version of the film back in 1985.
