The babysitter, whose name has not been released, has been charged with aggravated assault and two counts of serious bodily injury to a person under the age of 14.

Violence is alleged to have escalated as Noah was thrown towards a bunk bed, resulting in his head colliding with the bed frame.

Noah, who was already battling Covid at the time of the attack, has faced additional challenges in his recovery journey.

Despite the hurdles, his family remains hopeful for his recovery. His mother, Michelle Lane, expressed her heartbreak. She said: "It's not guaranteed what his quality of life is going to be, but we're praying and hoping for the best that he comes out just fine."

To prevent such tragedies in the future, Michelle Lane has taken action by starting an online petition calling for legislation in Indiana to set the minimum babysitting age at 16.

The petition has gained significant traction, amassing over 300 signatures, as concerned community members rally behind the initiative.

In an effort to garner support for Justice For Noah, videos advocating for the cause have surfaced on TikTok under the hashtag #JusticeforNoah, amassing over 7762 views.

As Noah's family anxiously awaits updates on his condition, the community is left grappling with the shocking incident, prompting reflection on the need for stringent regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of young children under the care of others.
