Father of popstar Britney Spears, Jamie Spears, has been photographed for the first time since the shocking news that he recently had his leg amputated.

Jamie Spears has been pictured for the first time since having his right leg surgically removed.
The father of chart-topping popstar Britney Spears reportedly underwent five unsuccessful operations to treat a severe infection before the decision was made to amputate, according to TMZ.
71-year-old Jamie was most recently seen at a warehouse in Kentwood, Louisiana using a wheelchair on Tuesday.
He was spotted by Jamie receiving help to move from the passenger seat of a car into the mobility aid.
Jamie kept it casual for the outing, donning an olive green sweater paired with a black puffer jacket.

He also wore simple black pants, which he tied up below the knee of his amputated leg.
An inside source told Page Six: “He’s still living in an RV next to Britney’s storage warehouse with all her stuff in it.
“He had a knee replacement and got a terrible infection from it,” they added, noting that the amputation was a “last resort”.
Despite Jamie’s recent health woes, including reports that he was “seriously ill” and has been in and out of hospital recently, his daughter Britney is apparently still no closer to trying to reconcile with him.

She aimed allegations of abuse against him in her new memoir, The Woman in Me, and claimed she was monitored constantly when she was under his conservatorship.
However, her fans might have thought a reunion was on the cards when Britney shared a throwback snap of the Spears family featuring her dad.
A source close to the Gimme More star has since told DailyMail.com that this was not the case.
Although meeting up with her dad is apparently out of the question, Britney might be softening towards her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, after her stints on Dancing With the Stars and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
According to TMZ, Jamie would have been at Britney’s birthday party but she was still in Australia filming the UK reality show.
“Britney wants to make things right with her family. She thinks it's time to start healing,” an insider told the publication.
“Being together and celebrating her birthday was a really nice moment for the family.”
