Gwyneth Paltrow took to Instagram with an invitation to help fans narrow down their Holiday lists, however, there’s a catch.

The GOOP founder was dressed in all black as she promoted the Ask Me Anything and revealed she was at her store in Brentwood, Los Angeles.

She said: “Hi Guys, I'm here to tell you that I'm doing my very last AMA of the year on Friday so I hope you'll join me.

“I'm doing it from the GOOP store in Brentwood and I'll be answering all kinds of questions, especially any last-minute holiday shopping questions. I'll see you there.”

While this seemed like an invitation for fans to meet the Oscar winner, the AMA will take place on Instagram Live, instead.

In the second frame of the post, the caption encouraged her 8 million followers to “Drop all your last-minute holiday shopping questions in the comments.”

The 51-year-old kept her outfit simple in the clip with a plain black crew neck sweater and a matching mid-calf length skirt with a slit up the front, from her G.Label line by Goop.

Gwyneth let her blonde longs drape over her shoulders which drew attention to her selection of pearl and gold necklaces.

In November the Marvel star made a surprising revelation about returning to acting after she seemingly retired in 2020 to focus on her wellness brand.

When probed about her on-screen return Gwyneth told Entertainment Tonight: “Well, it would be very hard for me to do any acting right at the moment, just because of my job.

“But I guess Robert Downey Jr. could probably always get me back, to some degree” she added with a laugh.

The two famously starred together on Marvel’s hit film series Iron Man where Gwyneth starred as Pepper Potts, Tony Starks’ (played by Robert Downey Jr) assistant and girlfriend.

Together they starred in all three installments of the action film and in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.

Following the recent confirmation of Iron Man’s return to screens, it’s yet to be seen if Gwyneth will be persuaded to reprise her fan-favorite role.
