'This b*tch refused to switch plane seats with me - I got the last laugh'

Comedian Cindy Arena has come out in support of TikToker Tammy Nelson (@myconquering) who posed the question "Should I swap seats with a Mother?". Cindy reminisced about how 'peaceful' it was when she didn't have to sit next to her kids on a flight

Leaving your children alone on a flight may not seem like the correct “good mother” thing to do, but for Comedian Cindy Arena, it was the best thing ever.

Cindy has posted a hilarious clip filmed on a flight, on her TikTok account (@cindyarenacomedy). With all the controversy surrounding people trading seats in order to sit with their children, she felt she needed to respond.

She was reminiscing about the time that she sat apart from her children on a flight. She called it “peaceful”.  She said: "I love that people are asking this question”.

“If you don’t have a seat next to your kids, should the person that’s sitting next to your children move, so you can sit with them?”, she asked. “No, let them stay with your kids!”.

The mother mentioned that she’d asked a passenger,  seated next to her two children (ages four and six) if she could move so she could sit next to them.

She refused. “I said okay, no problem. I’m not going to argue, and I went to the back of the plane and went and sat in my assigned seat because she wouldn’t give hers up”.

Instead of kicking off about the situation, Cindy was secretly relieved about being apart from her children.

“It was so peaceful. Finally the stewardess comes up (and) I know she’s coming because this b…h” (referring to the other passenger) “is sitting next to my kids and there is nothing fun about that”.

As the mother expected, the flight attendant obviously asked if the passenger could switch seats with Cindy.

“Oh, no. No, we need to stay in our assigned seats”, she says. “Have a good flight”.
