A woman was left mortified after a man seated next to her on a flight took manspreading to "another level".
The woman, named Claire, took to TikTok to share her horror. In the video posted by @claireandpeter, a man sat on the other side of the aisle could be seen reaching out his left leg across, taking up Claire’s personal space.
On the onscreen text, she said: “The way this man took manspreading to another level on my flight.”
She implied she was done with the situation as she captioned the video: “GOODBYE”.

Most TikTok users were horrified by the man’s blatant disregard for Claire’s personal space.
“I once had someone do that and I stepped on his foot since you know… I didn’t notice his foot in my space,” one comment said.
Another added: “I’d politely ask him to move back ONCE before I’d end up on the no fly list or in jail that’s for damn sure.”

A third empathised with flight attendants who would have to deal with that behaviour.
“Anyone think about the flight attendants with their little snack/juice trolley? Like they probably wont see his leg and fall in the worst case.”
However, one user defended the man’s actions as he justified that taller people struggle to fit into the cramp spaces most flights offer.
“6ft 4 man here can confirm this needs to happen on flights but the fact his foot has crossed into your foot area is too much extend into the aisle.”
