In a social media clip where she shared three easy winter cleaning tips that can be used as autumn comes to an end, a cleaning fanatic issued a warning about letting mold sit on your windows.

Mold is a huge health risk, and exposure to too many mold spores can lead to allergic symptoms such as difficulty breathing, headaches, and wheezing. In severe cases, it can even lead to death.

That’s why you should take the measures necessary to dry your laundry correctly to avoid issues and ensure your clothes don’t sit in the dryer for too long.

Sharing her winter cleaning suggestions on TikTok, the cleaning buff said you’ll start noticing condensation build-up on your windows in the mornings during winter. She urged keeping an eye on mold in this area.

You should make sure you clean around your window and keep the area dry as well as move items slightly away from the walls to improve airflow.

The woman decided to use Skoosh Multi Window Cleaner on the windows and sills and also recommended Skoosh Fresh Disinfectant to control mold and mildew.

Her next winter cleaning tip was to make sure you dust. She explained that dust builds up quicker when we’re home more often with the windows closed.

Be sure to tackle dust bunnies regularly to create healthier air and reduce your chances of allergies this winter.

As for her third tip, she said that your floors will see a lot more traffic now, so regularly vacuuming will “let you enjoy being home a lot more”.

It’s crucial to remember to vacuum regularly as the final step, or else you’ll end up having to do it all over again after you dust.
