Whoopi Goldberg continues social media tirade as she demands ‘I want my money back!’

The host of The View previously took to social media at the start of June to vent her fury about the latest release in her favorite video game franchise.

Whoopi Goldberg rants about Diablo IV update

Whoopi Goldberg returned to Instagram this week to demand a refund for her purchase of the latest Diablo game from Blizzard Entertainment.

She already explained her frustrations with the game in a June 7 video, in which she expressed her disappointment the game wasn’t compatible with her Mac computer.

However, Blizzard has apparently failed to get in touch with the Academy Award winner as she felt compelled to post another video on Sunday (June 18).

“I’ve still not heard from them,” she revealed in her latest Instagram post.

“I understand they want me to go get this for Xbox, but I want my money back.

“If you're not going to give me my game...I feel [that] I'm nice about it, but a lot of people are upset that they did not get what they were promised.”

Blizzard’s latest release, Diablo 4, is currently only available on Windows as well as PlayStation and Xbox platforms.

Unfortunately, Goldberg wasn’t aware she wouldn’t be able to play the game as Diablo 3 was also playable on Macs.

In her new video, the TV presenter said she felt entitled to some form of apology.

“‘Hey, Whoop, we're really sorry that happened to you’,” she suggested.

“I want my game. I want my money back. Please, Blizzard, I love y'all, this is a little out of control now.”

Her posts have been received with a divisive response from her followers.

Some claimed Goldberg was being misleading as Blizzard never confirmed the game would be released for Mac.

Others were more apologetic and joined in with her demands to get the game released on her system of choice.

It’s unclear if Goldberg has contacted Blizzard directly or is relying on her social media posts to lodge her complaints.

According to Game Rant, there are also a number of ways to get around the Mac’s compatibility issues, such as a new compatibility layer on the MacOS.

However, it’s unlikely Diablo 4 is officially released to the Mac any time soon.

Despite Goldberg’s complaints, the game has become Blizzard’s fastest-selling release to date, with a first season pack set to launch in July.
