Shocking video has emerged of the moment three Israelis were killed in broad daylight at a Jerusalem bus stop on Thursday.

Surveillance footage captures a silver hatchback coming to an abrupt stop at the Givat Shaul junction on the outskirts of the city.

Two men climb out. Within seconds, both brandish guns and begin shooting into a crowd.

Throngs of terrified civilians run for their lives as the gunmen rush forward and continue firing.

The shooters, confirmed as brothers in their 30s from occupied East Jerusalem, were killed at the scene by off-duty IDF soliders and a civilian.

The men managed to claim three Israeli lives during the attack: Livia Dickman, 24, Elimelech Wasserman, 73, and Hannah Ifergan, who was in her 60s.

Video shows the panicked crowd dispersing as the two brothers carry out their massacre.

Moments later, the attackers are shot and killed on video as they try to climb back into their car.

Thursday's attack came hours after Israel and Hamas extended their ceasefire as both parties negotiate prisoner exchanges.

Hamas has claimed responsibility for the attack in a message on Telegram, writing that "the operation came as a natural response to unprecedented crimes conducted by the occupation."

The militant group called for "an escalation of the resistance," AFP reports.

Israeli national minister Itamar Ben Gvir said the shooting further justifies Israel's recent decision to arm civilians after the brutal October 7 attack that left 1,200 people dead and kicked off the latest Israel-Hamas war, which has decimated Gaza and left many more Palestinian civilians dead.
