Upload season 3 release time: What time do episodes drop as disturbing secrets revealed

Upload season three has almost landed but what will the latest series come out? 

The sci-fi show on Prime Video follows Nathan Brown (Robbie Amell) whose life was cut short after his self-driving car malfunctioned and crashed. 

Instead of simply dying, his personality is uploaded into a special afterlife server where he finds himself in the idealistic Lakeview. 

He befriends his human handler Nora (Andy Allo) but his dominating girlfriend Ingrid (Allegra Edwards) is still desperately clinging onto him.

But questions begin to arise about whether Nathan’s death was an accident or murder.

What time do Upload season 3 episodes drop?

Upload originally premiered way back in 2020 and will be returning for season three on Friday, October 20, on Prime Video. 

This series is going to premiere at 5pm PST (Pacific Standard Time) and 8pm EST (Eastern Standard Time). 

While the time itself differs, Upload will be dropped at the same moment on the streamer, wherever you are in the States. 

What’s more exciting is that fans are going to be treated to not one but two episodes on the day of its release date.

Season three is going to consist of eight episodes in total with just the first two out on October 20. 

From then on, a new instalment is going to come out every week on Prime Video until it’s grand finale which is scheduled for December 1. 

Upload comes from the mind of Emmy Award-winning writer Greg Daniels who was behind The Office and Parks and Recreation. 

Announcing the show’s return last year, Amazon’s Head of Global TV Vernon Sanders said: "Upload has become a bonafide hit that continues to be one of the most watched comedy originals on Prime Video. 

“The series continues to connect and provoke endless possibilities for the future of technology and humanity.

"With Greg's [Daniels] distinct comedic take along with the dynamic creative team and talented actors, they've made a globally relevant series which we're all incredibly proud to bring back another season for our customers."

When Upload returns, Nathan and Nora are going to find out some of Freeyond’s disturbing secrets which they fight to put a stop to. 

Nathan has also got his health to contend with as he suffers from a concerning nosebleed which suggests a potential crisis. 

A backup version of Nathan is therefore activated in Lakeview but how is this going to affect his and Nora’s mission?
