TV star Tori Spelling shocked the world when it was discovered the Hollywood star is homeless and living in an RV.
Tori Spelling, daughter of one of the richest men in television history, has been staying in an RV amid reports of intensifying monetary struggles.
The sighting comes shortly after the 50-year-old actress and author was spotted staying at a $100-a-night motel in Los Angeles just earlier this month.
A source recently told ET Online that the star “has been struggling monetarily” but clarified that her motorhome stay was a “mini vacation rather than a living situation".
Spelling shot to fame after taking on the role of Donna Martin on the 90s TV show “Beverly Hills 90210”, which was famously co-produced by her father Aaron Spelling.
Known as one of the “richest and most prolific television producers in history,” Aaron Spelling's net worth was estaimted at $ 600 million around the time of his death, from a stroke.
Despite his staggering wealth, Aaron only left a small share of his estate to Tori after passing away in 2006.
The bulk of the producer's riches went to his wife Candy Spelling, leaving their children Tori and Randy with $800,000 each.
Tori, whose spending habits were allegedly out of control, came under the spotlight soon after her father's death when reports emerged that her mother had cut her off financially.
Thanks to her acting career, the 90210 star’s network was estimated around a staggering $15 to $20 million at one point in her life.
In 2013, however, Spelling made a surprising confession that she had blown her entire personal fortune and inheritance and had no more liquidity at her disposal.
Now, according to the website Celebrity Net Worth, the American actress's assets currently stand at an estimated $250,000.
It comes soon after the former television star’s estranged husband, Dean McDermott, revealed in a social media post on that he was separating from Spelling after 18 years, June 16.
The Instagram post, which has since been deleted, spurred speculation that the split was the reason behind Tori’s temporary stay at a $100-a-night motel in Los Angeles last month.
Despite the reports, Tori put her stay at the hotel down to a mold issue at her marital home, located in Santa Monica and worth $3.7 million.
The post was captioned: “It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways and start a new journey of our own.
“We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time."
