Timbaland made a rare public appearance at the VMAs, showing up to the ceremony with a new look.

Timbaland was unrecognizable as the rapper unexpectedly appeared at this year’s VMAs.
The presenter took to the stage at the Prudential Center for the global music event to present an award alongside singer and former Promiscuous collaborator Nelly Furtado.
Fans were thrilled to see the 2000s icon who is best known for his “stuttering” rhythmic style in hit tunes such as Carry Out, Apologize, The Way I Are and Give It To Me.
When he took to the stage, the 51-year-old was noticeably slimmer, dressed in a yellow and green striped flannel shirt and baggy yellow cargo pants.
He wore this with a black hat, bright neon blue sunglasses and white sneakers to finish off the bold look.
After appearing on stage, fans couldn’t help but take to social media to express their excitement of seeing the rapper and music producer again.
One viewer wrote: "NSYNC, Nelly Furtado, Timbaland. I've transported back to the 2000s”, followed by a heart eye emoji.
Another said: "Nelly Furtado and Timbaland are one of the best duos in music history."
While a third added: "*NSYNC, Timbaland & Nelly now Ashanti omg the early 2000's are back babyyyy."

Timbaland was among some of the world’s biggest stars to present awards which celebrated the 50th anniversary of hip hop in 2023.
Some of the other famous faces who also appeared on stage were Dove Cameron, Halle Bailey, Tiffany Haddish, Billy Porter, Wyclef Jean and Ashanti.
He and Furtado were on stage for the Song of the Year Award which was presented to Taylor Swift for Anti-Hero.
She was the biggest winner of the night, taking home a whopping nine awards, including Video of the Year, Best Pop, Artist of the Year and Album of the Year.
In recent years, Timbaland has taken a step back from the limelight to create music for other stars.
He has worked with some major names in his career, including Justin Timberlake, Snoop Dogg, Madonna and Jay-Z.
Timbaland also brought to life the rap/R&B battle series Verzuz and Beatclub, a platform where producers and songwriters can sell beats, demos and other song elements to artists.
