One woman is sharing how people can make a lot of money by reselling items they purchase from their local thrift store. Thrifting has become a lucrative side hustle for many individuals who document their shopping experiences online.

LadyArbitage is a content creator on TikTok and is one of the many people who had made a lot of money by finding deals at her nearest Goodwill.

Recently, she found a soft toy for $1 at a thrift store which she soon learned was reselling for up to $1,190. The product question was one of the products produced by Jellycat, a popular soft toy brand with children.

According to the content creator, those looking to find deals at thrift stores on soft toys should look out for the Jellycat label. This is because they regularly sell at places such as Goodwill but can be resold for hundreds of dollars online.

For example, a Jellycat toy which looked like a blue puppy dog toy retailed for only $2 but sells online for $45. The TikTok content creator highlighted that a rare Jellycat toy called Little Fergus the Frog sells for $1,190 on eBay.

In a recent video, LadyArbirtage broke down how much people could potentially make by seeking out these soft toys.

She said: “When these doors open, people get crazy at this thrift store. When you see this tag, pick it up. This is Jellycat - this one is only $2 but look how much it goes for.

“One another shelf, this one is rare as well. I kept digging and there was Jellycat everywhere. Most of them only for a $1.

“You find the right one of these, you’ll definitely make a lot of money. Some of these will be going for a lot.”

Outside of Jellycat soft toys, LadyArbitage also found other deals on children’s toys at her local thrift store.

She discovered a Cinderella Carriage Popcorn Bucket which was also being sold for $2.

Looking online, the TikToker found that some people were happy to pay up to $25 for this particular item.
