The Masked Singer has entertained fans for nine seasons now, as a mix of mysterious celebrities battle it out wearing elaborate costumes in a bid to keep their identity concealed. Previous seasons of Fox’s hit reality show have seen the likes of singers, actors, athletes, and even politicians take to the iconic stage to perform. Kicking off with a bang, one contestant in season four of The Masked Singer, had to perform in two costumes.
Wendy Williams was unmasked in the October 28 episode of the show, but her performance, which is filled with laughter, vocal runs, and confident belting, still lives on in meme culture as a clip of her singing Native New Yorker on the show quickly went viral.
The talk show host later revealed that she not only had to wear one mask, but she had to wear two during her time on the show.
“We have to wear a totally big mask with another mask under it,” the TV personality who dressed up as a pair of red lips revealed.

After Williams got the boot she blamed her lack of talent, explaining: “I can't sing, I can't dance, but I know how to have fun!"

Another time The Masked Singer fans were shocked was when the identity of the celebrity hiding under the Snail costume was revealed in 2021.
After being branded the most famous guest on "The Masked Singer ever” by Ken Jeong, world-renowned puppet Kermit the Frog was unmasked.
Robin Thicke claimed to have had a feeling it was Kermit under the costume, saying: “The first thing I thought of was Kermit the Frog.”
Kermit sang Hall & Oates’ You Make My Dreams (Come True) before being revealed.
The Muppet addressed the judges after his unmasking, saying: “Well you know what, I have had just a great time being here, so it's really been a pleasure."
But one celebrity act didn't get a warm reception from The Masked Singer fans when their identity was revealed.
The Beach Ball made its debut as the final wildcard contestant of season six, but it was soon revealed that the Beach Ball was actually two celebrities together.
After watching their performance dressed as a beach ball, fans slammed June (Mama June) Shannon, and Alana (Honey Boo Boo) Thompson as the "worst performers EVER" in the show's history in 2021.
Fans were not surprised that the pair was quickly eliminated, as many fans took to Twitter to criticize the duo’s singing skills.

The 2008 Republican Vice Presidential candidate shook her behind as she rapped to the famous pop song, but was, unfortunately, the first person to go home in the group C round.
None of the judges were even close to guessing the identity of Pink Bear, so it was understandable when they were all speechless when she was unmasked.
After her elimination, Palin admitted: “This is the weirdest thing I've ever done, but it's all about fun, it's all about unity. This is all good. This is something our country needs right now."
