Juicy Thanksgiving Day ham is perfect when paired with foods like mac and cheese and sweet potatoes on the holiday. Connecticut-based cook Damaris (@damariskitchen) shared a special ham recipe with her large TikTok following in time for the festivities, and her recipe seems to be a hit with fans.

Before setting out to help viewers make a sweet and juicy holiday ham in a video, Damaris said her ham is “nothing fancy” but it “tastes so good”. To replicate her recipe, get started with your glaze.

Add 13 ounces of strawberry preserves, 10 ounces of cherries with the liquid, a tablespoon of cinnamon, a 20-ounce can of pineapple with the juice, and a third of a cup of brown sugar to a pot. Mix it well and cook it for five minutes until it gets nice and gooey.

While it cooks, grab your ham and remove some of the fat to your liking.

Slice your ham into different sections or keep it whole, and begin pouring your glaze over it.

Place it in the oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. After 40 minutes your delicious holiday ham is ready to eat.

People left comments on Damaris’s video, sharing their love for Thanksgiving day ham and singing praises of the recipe.

One person said: “Ham is literally the reason I show up to Thanksgiving (joking). That and the potato salad.”

Sharing their own method, one person showed approval for the content creator's technique as well: “Oh wow!! I’m used to the cloves, cherries and pineapple! But this looks so good and juicy.”

And, having tried out the recipe for themselves, one woman vouched for the juicy ham recipe, writing: “Hi just wanted to say I made your ham for Thanksgiving. Thank you, it was a winner!!”
