Travis Kelce's girlfriend Taylor Swift is used to meeting famous sports stars since attending Kansas City Chiefs games, but she met an unlikely WWE wrestler on Sunday. Former King of the Ring and Money in the Bank champion Baron Corbin was in the Chiefs box at Arrowhead Stadium and shared a selfie with the singer.

While Kelce and the Chiefs lost against the Buffalo Bills, Swift met Corbin, whose real name is Thomas Pestock.

The WWE star is a Kansas City native but had a history in the NFL before switching to wrestling. Pestock attended NCAA Division II college Northwest Missouri State University and played offensive guard, and was a starter in his junior year back in 2007.

Pestock made it to the Division II National Championships on four consecutive occasions but lost each team. He then went undrafted in 2009 but was signed by the Indianapolis Colts, and roomed with former NFL player and pro wrestler Pat McAfee during his time in Indiana.

The wrestler went through spells of being released and signed by the Colts and then the Arizona Cardinals before giving up on his NFL dreams, and switching his attention to wrestling. Pestock famously started a brawl at Cardinals training camp in 2010 and reportedly threw multiple uppercuts in the fight before being cut.

Pestock's aggressive reputation continued in the WWE but it gave him an identity, one that wasn't liked by many of the wrestling fans. He was named Most Hated Wrestler by WWE in 2018, and in 2019 he received the same award from Pro Wrestling Illustrated.

Swift still seemed happy to meet him though, but she won't be happy with how the game ended as she's now seen back-to-back Chiefs losses. The singer was 4-0 when watching the Chiefs before taking a short break to perform more concerts for her international "Eras Tour".

The Chiefs were 6-1 when she continued her tour, but they were 8-3 by the time she returned last week. Swift was at Lambeau Field to witness her first loss in the crowd, as the Chiefs were beaten by the Green Bay Packers.

One loss has quickly become two as the Chiefs lost 20-17 to the Bills on Sunday, although Kelce almost threw the winning touchdown with just over a minute to play. After receiving a pass from Patrick Mahomes, Kelce then threw the ball to Kadarius Toney who ran into the end zone.

But the Chiefs wide receiver was called offside to the disgust of Mahomes, who launched his helmet and shouted at officials until the game was over and the players left the field. The Chiefs are now 8-5 and have lost four of their last six games.
