Taylor Swift has flown to New York City from Kansas on the eve of her 34th birthday, leaving fans wondering if her new flame Travis Kelce is planning something special. The pair have been one of the most talked about couples in recent months, and all eyes are on New York with Kelce expected to throw her an extravegant party.

Swift's flight from Kansas came following her recent attendance at the Chiefs game on Sunday. She took in the game alongside Kelce's mother, Donna, and her new friend Brittany Mahomes, wife of quarterback Patrick.

Sadly for both Swift and the Chiefs, the team suffered a devastating 17-20 defeat to the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium. Kelce managed to impress with six receptions for 83 yards but his efforts weren't enough to claim the win.

The tight end was involved in a controversial play in the final minutes that saw the team claim a game-winning touchdown thanks to his surprising lateral pass to teammate Kadarius Toney, but the play was called off due to an offside call.

While the Chiefs and Kelce suffered a disappointing result, Swift was coming off the back of some good news having been named Time's Person of the Year. And now, she's set to celebrate her 34th birthday in style, with reports claiming Kelce is planning a surprise celebration for the singer.

With the Chiefs next in action on Sunday (Dec.17), Kelce will need to report back for training on Wednesday, meaning that any celebrations involving him would have to be short-lived.

The singer recently opened up on her relationship with Kelce following her Time award where she addressed her thoughts around being filmed at every game.

"I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in,” she said. "There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once."

"I’m just there to support Travis," she added. "I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads."

"Football is awesome, it turns out," Swift went on to claim. "I’ve been missing out my whole life."

The singer went on to reveal how the pair first started talking, saying: "This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell.

"We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date."

"When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care," Swift added. "The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other."
