There's a new fan theory and it's directed at one of her exes, .

Swifties have grown to be notorious for analysing everything the singer does; nothing gets past them, especially when it comes to Swift's lyrics.

Sometimes the popstar leaves her massive fanbase clues and hints, but not everything she does holds great significance.

Now that 1989 (Taylor's Version) has dropped, fans think the new never-before-heard tracks are full of references.

She's already slammed some speculation surrounding her sexuality on the new record.

However, fans believe that the album’s Is It Over Now? vault track 100% references the former One Direction member — and calls him a “lying traitor.”

Swift and Styles dated from 2012 to 2013 and the Bad Blood singer released 1989 the following year.

In the 33-year-old songwriter's new release, she seemingly mentions two key moments from their relationship.

The new track's lyrics speak about the time one of Swift's exes “lost control,” leading to “red blood [and] white snow.”

In 2014, she revealed to Rolling Stone that she got into a snowmobile accident with an ex.

She never named Styles, but the 29-year-old singer was spotted with a bandage on his chin at the time.

Swift previously addressed the incident in Out of the Woods, singing: “Remember when you hit the brakes too soon/Twenty stitches in a hospital room/When you started crying, baby, I did too.”

Elsewhere in Is It Over Now? the lyrics mention Swift wearing a “blue dress on a boat.”

In 2013, a photo of Swift went viral when she left a Virgin Islands vacation with Styles all alone.

She was sitting by herself on a boat, looking dejected in a blue dress and black sunglasses.

The former couple reportedly broke up on that trip, with Styles going on to date on and off from 2013 to 2015.

In Is It Over Now? Swift speaks of her “lying traitor” ex moving on with models, claiming he looked in “every model’s bed for something greater” than their relationship.

Swifties took to Twitter to discuss the new song.

One demanded: “HARRY STYLES WHAT DID YOU DO?”

Another tweeted" “22 year old Taylor Swift calling Harry Styles a lying traitor is my favourite thing in the world.”

Since splitting from Jenner, Styles has dated model Camille Rowe, director Olivia Wilde and, most recently, actress Taylor Russell.

In a 2017 Rolling Stone interview, the actor acknowledged Swift’s songs about him over the years, calling them an “amazing unspoken dialogue."

He added: “She doesn’t need me to tell her they’re great,” and clarified that her breakup ballads are “great.”

Elsewhere in 1989 (Taylor's Version) news, Swift has hinted that her other breakup with Joe Alwyn would be referenced in the new re-release.
