Taylor Swift's pal Brittany Mahomes 'wants to be matchmaker' for Sophie Turner after split

The pair have been growing close since the 33-year-old started dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

However, Brittany only made her girl's night debut over the weekend, fully initiating her into the group along with Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid and newly single Sophie Turner.

Now, a source has told Us Weekly that the retired soccer player is looking to add matchmaker to her resume as she’s keen to “play matchmaker” for the Game of Thrones actress.

Sophie infamously went through a sudden and bitter divorce from her husband of four years Joe Jonas just two months ago with custody of their two daughters becoming a divisive point in their ongoing separation.

The source claimed the two mothers get along incredibly well and that Brittany is keen to set Sophie up with one of her husband’s friends.

Brittany was spotted in the A-lister girl group on Saturday night as the five ladies headed out to a lavish New York City sushi restaurant and were later joined by Cara Delevingne.

The retired sports star held her own against the Hollywood icons, donning chic royal blue trousers and a matching corset top with a huge white coat to keep out the growing winter chill.

As the youngest member of the Taylor Swift squad, Sophie originally joined the group after becoming quick friends with the singer during a joint appearance on the Graham Norton Show just weeks after marrying Joe.

While Saturday marked Sophie and Brittany’s first time out and about together, Sophie previously met the woman who could be finding her true love at a Kansas City Chiefs game in October.

Watching Patrick Mahomes play with Travis Kelce against the New York Jets seemed to be a worthwhile event for Taylor who packed the VIP suite full of celebrities like Sophie as well as Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.
