Sydney Sweeney laughs off Glen Powell romance and admits ‘it’s fun’ to lean into rumors
Sydney Sweeney is not only in on the joke that she is more than friends with her Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell, she's actually leaning into it.

Sydney Sweeney is just giving the fans what they want!
The 25-year-old Euphoria star, who is engaged to Jonathan Davino, knows that fans think there is some hanky panky going on between her and her Anyone But You, co-star Glen Powell.
The rumors started when Sydney and Glen were spotted filming their upcoming rom-com in Australia, with what appeared to be some serious chemistry.
After Instagram photos of Sydney and Glen went viral his then girlfriend, Gigi Paris, started unfollowing him, and news that they had called it quits after three years soon followed.
At the time, a source spoke to US Weekly and insinuated that Sydney’s relationship with Glen was also affecting her relationship with Jonathan.
“It was an open secret they’d gotten really close,” the insider shared in May. “She takes her reputation extremely seriously.
"This is without a doubt a huge test of their relationship.”
Sydney has remained tight-lipped about the rumors surrounding both her relationship with Glen and her fiance - until now.
In a new interview with Variety, Sydney thinks the interest in her relationship with Glen is “really funny” and that they are actually leaning into the rumors because “it’s a rom com.”

“That’s what people want! Glen and I don’t really care," she said.
"We have so much fun together, and we respect each other so much; he’s such a hard worker, and I’m a hard worker. We’re excited for the press tour, and I literally just left ADR with him. We talk all the time like, ‘That’s really funny'".
“They want it,” Sydney continued. “It’s fun to give it to ’em.”
Despite the drama that seemed to be following Sydney and Glen around while filming Anyone But You, she says they were just living her “best life.”
“I had a really good time. I was living my best life,” she gushed to Entertainment Tonight. “I loved it.”
Adding she had “never laughed so much” while working alongside the Top Gun: Maverick star and the rest of the cast and crew.
At the height of the drama, Sydney did step out very publicly for a date night with Jonathan, to seemingly put a stop to the gossip.
A Glen source told ET at the time he is “not dating his co-star Sydney Sweeney, who is still engaged to Jonathan Davino.”
Anyone But You hits theaters on December 15.
