Fergie also said that Chapman was "beautiful, loyal, hardworking and fun," and said that she would help Chapman's family pay for the funeral costs if they requested it.

While the details surrounding Chapman's murder are unclear, 48-year-old James Patrick has been arrested for the crime.

He is currently being held without bail.

Chapman first got a job with the Duchess of York after she'd graduated from Syracuse University.

During her tenure with Sarah Ferguson, Chapman handled everything from her press and publicity to her daily scheduling.

Chapman's family also said that their late daughter lived in San Francisco for a time, before moving to Dallas to take another job.

The family's GoFundMe page, which will be used to defray the costs of transporting Chapman's body from Texas to New York, was also shared by Sarah Ferguson on her Instagram page.
