Prince William and Princess Kate ‘resentful’ toward Harry and Meghan for 'extra workload'

Prince William and Princess Kate are doing the heavy lifting, literally and figuratively.

Prince William and Princess Kate have taken on more work since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to the US. It’s being reported the working royals are “resentful” that they’ve been left to “pick up the slack,” reports The Mirror

Harry and Meghan stepped back from their royal responsibilities in 2020, uprooted and moved to Canada, ultimately landing in Los Angeles, CA, where they live now.

It’s being said, Harry and Meghan’s priorities have shifted, with the couple focusing on their careers, specifically, applying for a trademark, which is currently pending.

An insider spoke to Closer Magazine, saying the “extra workload” is having an impact on William and Kate, and that it’s taking a toll on their family life.

The insider explains the pressure William and Kate are feeling, saying: "With less time at home together and having to spend more time apart, they feel constantly torn apart in different directions and they insist that wouldn't be happening if Harry and Meghan hadn't abandoned their royal duties.”

In the reverse, William and Kate are so busy, and out and about, that it may result in Harry and Meghan being “jealous,” says PR expert Andy Barr.

The 10Yetis.co.uk representative said to The Mirror: "I love brand Meghan and Harry but I do think that were Kate and Wills wanting to crack America, as rumored, they would do so with far greater ease and speed than their power couple rivals.”

Barr points out the difference between the two couples: ”Whilst Harry and Meghan have a powerful and well-established network of celebrity friends and 'fixers', there is no substitute for being an actual, fully paid up member of the Royal Family.”

And how royal outweighs celebrity: ”The global interest and intrigue in the British Royal Family means that they are guaranteed crowds wherever they go and whatever they do.”

The “slimmed down monarchy” is now so small, eleven working royals, that they are “spread to thin,” says royal biographer Dr. Ed Owens when speaking to Express US
