Prince William 'really frustrated and tied up' over Prince Harry's 'impossible' move

Prince Harry's tell-all campaign against the Royal Family has put his brother in a sticky spot, claims one royal author.

Prince William harbors "real frustration" over what to do with Prince Harry as he fears any attempts at reconciliation could serve as fodder for the latter's career, a royal author claims.

Trust between the two brothers is said to be at an all-time low nine months after the release of Harry's tell-all memoir, Spare, which was littered with explosive claims about the British Royal Family.

The now-infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey and the Sussexes' Netflix docuseries predated Spare but the book took Harry's "truth bombing" to a whole new level.

Now, William is confronted with a difficult choice: does he extend the olive branch to his brother or will any private attempts to do so be made public?

Royal author Duncan Larcombe told The Sun: "It is a real frustration for him [William] and it totally ties him up. It isn't just about Harry promoting his book, the podcasts or the Oprah chat, but he has revealed some very personal and private family matters, like when they all rallied around the Queen's bedside (before she died).

"It's so far over the mark of what the Royals would consider acceptable and it just makes it impossible for William to trust his brother or make any move towards (a reconciliation)."

Harry and William's feud is long-standing. The Duke of Sussex has always played second fiddle to his older brother, who is first line to the throne.

As a result, Harry has slowly descended down the line of succession with the birth of each of his older brother’s children.

These simmering tensions came to a head with the release of Harry's memoir, which is filled with examples that suggest the Duke is tormented by his status as the royal “spare” behind William.

Harry also makes explicit references to William and his wife Princess Kate that portray them both in a negative light.

In Spare, released on January 10, Harry claims his brother physically attacked him as their relationship unravelled over the Duke's marriage to Meghan Markle.

Recounting a tense exchange at his London home in 2019, Harry claims William called Meghan “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive”, which Harry calls a “parrot[ing of] the press narrative” about his American wife.

The confrontation then turned physical, Harry writes, when William “grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and … knocked me to the floor”.

Kate also comes in the firing line, with Harry claiming she made his wife cry over bridesmaids dresses ahead of their 2018 wedding.

Furthermore, Harry partially blames William and Kate for his ill-judged decision to wear a Nazi costume.

Referring to the infamous episode in which the Duke donned a Nazi costume, complete with swastika, for a dress-up party in 2005.

The Duke claims the Prince and Princess of Wales "howled" at his controversial costume choice.
