Prince Andrew believes he’s favored over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for one reason
King Charles has been accepting of Prince Andrew but keeps Prince Harry at a distance. Andrew has a theory as to why this is, and it's pretty straightforward, he stands by his brother.

Prince Andrew is convinced he's in King Charles III's good books and in a better position than Prince Harry because he hasn't been disloyal to the Royal Family, it has been reported.
Both Andrew and Harry have resigned as working royals, but for different reasons. Prince Andrew become a lightning rod of controversy and Harry stepped back to pursue his own ventures. Even so, the former seems to believe he’s the preferred royal, reports The Daily Beast.
According to a friend, Prince Andrew has shown remorse and is now living a quiet life — unlike Harry and wife Meghan Markle — which makes life easier on the King.

Prince Andrew's friend shared his thoughts with The Daily Beast, saying: “If you were Charles, would you rather have a problem that looks like Harry and Meghan or a problem that looks like Andrew? Andrew has taken his punishment, withdrawn from public life and done whatever has been asked of him.”
It sounds like obedience and it’s being rewarded. At the same time, if Andrew’s goal was to get out of the dog house and back into the main house, it seems to have worked, at least for now.
His friend adds: "He knows he has damaged the monarchy. So have Harry and Meghan. The difference is [Andrew] deeply regrets it and it was not intentional, whereas Harry and Meghan deliberately set out to cause as much damage to Charles and Camilla as they could to sell books and TV shows."

The above comments are referring to Harry’s 2023 tell-all memoir Spare and his and Meghan’s 2022 interview with Oprah where they don’t just tell all, they make accusations, like family members allegedly making remarks about their unborn child’s possible skin color being problematic.
Andrew’s friend sums it up, saying: “That’s an entirely different matter. Disloyalty is far and away the No. 1 crime in that family.”
It’s not to say Andrew can do no wrong, he just stopped talking about what he's doing, which could be categorized as the royal way. Andrew currently resides at Royal Lodge in Windsor, a 30-room mansion, meanwhile, Harry stayed in a hotel the last time he was in England.
