Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley hit out at fellow Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy after he made a comment about her daughter during the GOP's third presidential primary debate Wednesday night.

When asked about bans on TikTok, Ramaswamy said that Haley made fun of him in the last debate for joining the social media site.

He said to Haley: "Her own daughter was actually using the app for a long time, so you might want to take care of your family first."

Haley fired back: "Leave my daughter out of your voice!" She added soon after: "You're just scum."

The crowd in the debate hall booed loudly as Ramaswamy made the comment.

The pair traded barbs back and forth throughout, with Ramaswamy repeatedly using Haley's name in his answers.

Topics included the Israel-Hamas war, funding to Ukraine, abortion, and anti-semitism on college campuses.

Donald Trump was notably absent yet again from the debate, opting instead to hold a campaign rally just 10 miles northwest of the Miami venue.

Trump spoke to his large crowd of supporters and continued to push his hard-line immigration proposals and travel bans.

The former president remains the overwhelming frontrunner in the Republican bid for presidential nominee, with DeSantis and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley fighting for second.
