Nicki Minaj's husband placed on house arrest after threatening Cardi B's hubby Offset
Kenneth Petty has been put on home detention for threatening rapper Offset on social media following a history of convictions and two stints in prison.

Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty has been sentenced to 120 days of house arrest for threatening Cardi B’s husband Offset.
The Central District of California Court delivered the sentence on Wednesday this week after public threats against the rapper violated his probation.
Petty was sentenced to three years probation in 2022 for failing to serve as a sex offender in California following convictions of attempted rape and attempted murder and two stints in prison.
He’ll now have to serve detention for up to four months for telling Offset “you gonna be planning your funeral p****”, amongst other threats, on social media on September 16.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Petty violated his probation by “making threatening remarks while in the company of someone with a criminal record.”
Minaj’s husband may have to be monitored with an electronic GPS ankle bracelet, although this is yet to be determined.
The threats were made in an Instagram video featuring Petty and two of his friends calling out Offset.
They reportedly stood across the street from a New York hotel where Offset was supposedly staying while making threats.
“We gonna get you n****. We know where you at, what's up? Let's go. Let's talk, p**** a** n****,” the music executive said in the video.

“Let's play man, y'all wanna play? It's all fun and games until we wanna play too...That whole gang can suck a d**k...Up North I had you scared boy!”
Offset later responded by confirming he wasn’t in the hotel after all, posting a video of himself chuckling next to his private jet.
He added insult to injury by implying Petty was broke while he lived the high life, laughing “I'm getting off a jet. He's funny.”
On Wednesday, Offset was busy celebrating his six-year anniversary with his “beautiful, gorgeous, pretty” wife Cardi B whilst Petty was slapped with his 120-day sentence.
