Nicki Minaj has posted an audio recording purportedly of a woman calling Child Protective Services on her family.

The Super Bass rapper, 40, shared a clip on Instagram of someone saying a man ‘has a shotgun and fired five shots’, was ‘possibly drunk’ and ‘had a child in his arms’.

“She keeps telling him to put the child down, I don’t know if he’s trying to leave with the kid and she’s trying to talk him out of it,” the woman is heard telling the operator.

It’s unclear when the phone call was made, or who the person making the call was, but in June police attended Nicki’s San Fernando Valley home after a ‘swatting’ call was made claiming her child was being abused

‘Swatting’ is a prank phone call phenomenon that deliberately causes emergency services to send armed police officers to an address.

During the June incident, the LA Sheriff's Department arrived at the home Minaj shares with husband Kenneth Petty and their two-year-old son.

A separate incident claimed there was a fire at Minaj’s home, which was also responded to by emergency services.

Next to the audio, Minaj let rip at the nuisance caller, as well as the lack of response to it.

She wrote in the caption: “[Two] times my home was surrounded by large guns. This person wanted a family with a [two] year old to be shot at. Yet, nothing on any blog.”

“This same person made a false claim to CPS,” she added. “When you have snitches in high places of the music industry who don’t want you to win but realize they can’t stop you because God’s anointing in my life is very real.

“Funny how this person hasn’t been found, mentioned, arrested, nada.”

“It’s still protect black women or nah??? no sympathy needed,” she added.

She later added on her Instagram Stories: “A child who's done nothing to anyone but bring joy. You gon get the breaks beaten off you.

“Ain't reading comments. DGAF about them so y'all knock yourself out.”

“Can’t call the cops every time you flop, just saying,” wrote another.

The audio recording was released on the eve of new music for the rapper, and just a day after her husband Petty was court-ordered to serve 120 days of house arrest.

Petty got in trouble for threatening Cardi B’s husband Offset on social media.

The courts ruled it violated terms of his probation after he failed to register as a sex offender in California back in 2020.

He has to wear a home monitoring device as part of the order.
