Micheal Arnold, 65, was arrested for a four-year-long campaign of stalking the young girl's mother, Cassie Wilusz, using a single-engine Cessna plane.

Arnold was accused of repeatedly flying his aircraft over their home in , causing windows to rattle and the roof to shake.

This distressing situation took place while the woman's husband was battling colon cancer.

Despite her efforts to seek help by reporting these incidents to the Federal Aviation Administration and New York State Police, her complaints went unanswered.

"It's a nightmare. He's terrorized my family, and we've been so afraid," Wilusz, 42, told Fox News Digital. "All these years he has been winning because nobody would do anything until now."

"I didn't know if he'd fly into our home. I didn't know what he was capable of," she said. "I thought, what if he shoots me."

Arnold's history includes at least five prior arrests related to his disturbing aerial activities, but none of these encounters seemed to deter him.

On a recent Friday, Saratoga County Sheriff's deputy Nikki Voegler arrested Arnold on criminal contempt charges outside a local grocery store in the town.

This arrest was based on his alleged involvement with a Facebook account used to threaten the daughter of the woman he had been stalking.

"Change your wicked ways, girl. Karma is a wonderful thing, [your daughter] will be next. You will see them all pass before you," he allegedly wrote.

Police say he used the same fictitious account to post a disturbing message on her husband's obituary page. "When times(sic) up, times(sic) up. We all have to live with our Karma," he wrote.

The troubling series of events began in November 2019 when Wilusz, who runs Revolution Café in a quaint town of 1,300 people, located approximately 200 miles north of New York City, crossed paths with Arnold.

Arnold, a retired Merchant Marine, used to visit the café several times a week. After Wilusz sent him a polite Facebook message expressing her concerns about some graphic photos, she decided to block him.

Her rejection seemed to trigger an obsession in Arnold and he began flying his plane over her home, taking pictures of her property and vehicle, and then posting them on a community Facebook page.

Whenever Wilusz went about her daily routines, such as going to work, walking her dog, or taking her daughter to school, she would find Arnold sitting in his car at the end of her driveway or lurking nearby.

An anonymous package arrived in the mail containing photos of her and her family with checkmarks next to their faces, but the package had been sent from a post office without surveillance cameras, making it impossible for the police to identify the sender.

In November 2022, Arnold allegedly used his 1976 propeller plane to drop tomatoes on Wilusz's property and those of her neighbors.

During his next flight, law enforcement authorities were prepared at the Saratoga County Airport.

They requested to inspect his cellphone and discovered numerous covertly taken photos of Wilusz and her family at various locations.

"I just want [my daughter] to see justice because she shouldn't have to see in 2023 a man do this to a woman and nobody listen," Wilusz said.
