Michelle Pfeiffer got a black eye while playing pickle ball last week, but now she's revealed that the person behind the incident couldn't look at her after.

Michelle Pfeiffer has opened up about a recent scary incident that left her with a black eye.

Last week the Scarface actress took to Instagram to inform her many followers that she sustained the injury while playing pickle ball with her sister and her sister's friend. 

The post featured three gruesome pictures of the ageless star sporting the black eye.

The first showed her icing her eye, the second was a snap of her smiling with the injury, and the third featured a close up of the damage.

Now, she's revealed that the her sister's friend was the one who hit the ball directly into her eye and that the person couldn't look at or even speak to the starlet following the incident.

On Instagram, Pfeiffer warned fans: "WARNING Pickleball-Stay out of the Kitchen!! Thank you, Less!"

Pfeiffer later added in the comments that her injury was “nothing serious. Thank God!”

“Life is sweetened with risk!,” she continued.

Several people took to the comments section of the post to comment their support for the Golden Globe winner.

Her sister Deedee wrote: “But she kept on playing….”

Actress Selma Blair added: “Oh dear!! Eye am wishing you a speedy recovery.”

Julianne Moore commented: “That’s why I don’t play.”

Alec Baldwin poked fun at his Married to the Mob co-star, writing: “Damn Can’t sell beauty products and play pickle, it seems.”

During an interview on  on Thursday, the actress explained the incident further.

“Last Thursday, I’m playing pickleball — the ball hits me in the eye,” the “Batman Returns” she explained about the sporting outing with her sisters, Dedee and Lori, and their friends.

“The first thing I thought, ‘I’m gonna have to cancel Drew again!'”

Pfeiffer added: “It was [Lori’s friend] who hit me in the eye. He was horrified of course. He couldn’t speak to me, he couldn’t even look at me.”

Pfeiffer shared that her initial appearance on Barrymore's talk show was postponed because she had a stye on her eye.

The actress really doesn't have any luck when it comes to her eyes. 

At least by the time Pfeiffer appeared on Barrymore's show, her eye looked a ton better than it did days after getting hit.

On the talk show, she kept her outfit simple, wearing a black v-neck shirt and styled her hair straight.

Her makeup undoubtedly covered up any residual bruising.
