Meghan Markle was 'royal before' Prince Harry and 'that family' says Kelly Rowland
Former Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland has opened up about her friend Meghan Markle.
The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, already had a regal touch about her prior to becoming part of the Royal Family when she married Prince Harry, according to her Kelly Rowland.
The 42-year-old pop star and former member of Disney’s Child recounted her friendship with the Suits star recently.
Speaking to Hello!, Kelly told the outlet about her first meeting with Meghan, also 42, earlier this year at Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour.
They met during her show at the Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles with Scandal star Kerry Washington also in attendance.
Kelly said: "She was royal before she was in that family.

The Survivor songstress continued: "I think that we are royalty before anything.
“And we have to hold ourselves in that regard as humans, as people."
Singer Kelly shared the details from meeting Meghan and Kerry during a recent event in Brooklyn, New York over the weekend.
The trio are said to have bonded over their shared love of Kelly’s bandmate Beyoncé.

However, the women are also all mothers with two young children, which provided common ground between them.
Kelly said it was “nice” attending the concert with “other great women” as she hailed both Kerry and Meghan.
Paying tribute to Meghan, Kelly said the royal was “very cool” and grounded despite the intense media speculation and scrutiny her marriage into the Royal Family brought with it.
Moreover, she said they were all just able to “simply talk” about their lives.
The interview comes as fans pointed out, Kelly and Meghan had in fact met previously back in 2014.
An image posted to Meghan’s deactivated Instagram account and blog The Tig showed Kelly with Meghan and Kerry at New York Fashion Week.
Another snap showed Meghan with Kelly and journalist and stylist Joe Zee at another event at New York Fashion Week the same year.
The snaps were taken when Meghan was mid-way through her run as paralegal Rachel Zane in the law drama Suits, which she was part of for seven seasons.
While Kerry was winning rave reviews as Olivia Pope in the ABC drama Scandal, which saw her performance earning her a Golden Globe and Emmy nomination as well as a slew of other gongs.
The news comes as Prince Harry and Meghan are said to be in early talks about appearing a reality series, while Suits was recently knocked off the top of the streaming charts but the couple are said to have big plans going forward.
