After being filmed seemingly in an argument behind-the-scenes of the VMAs, Justin Timberlake and Megan Thee Stallion have cleared the air.

Justin Timberlake and Megan Thee Stallion have officially put to bed their feud rumors after being spotted ‘in an argument’ at the VMAs

The duo were rumored to have got into an argument behind the scenes of the MTV awards show after a video surfaced of Megan pointing as she spoke, before Justin shuffled off away from her.

But shutting down any of the speculation, Megan has confirmed the pair are on good terms - posting a giggly video of her with Justin at an afterparty on TikTok and Instagram

While the pair are seen talking to the camera in the new video, laughing as they did so, what they’re saying has been muted by Megan, who replaced the sound with a clip of Fukai Mori by Do As Infinity.

However, you can spot her clearly saying the word “chill” to her fans during the exchange, with the pair cuddling up together to prove there’s no issue.

At one point Justin leans into the camera and says something that makes her scream with laughter before she ends the video.

She wrote alongside the clip: “I just talk with my hands lol. see ya next time @justintimberlake.”

The friendly and light-hearted new clip comes in what appeared stark contrast to the video caught just a few hours before behind the scenes of the VMAs.

Megan - who performed her new single Bongos on stage with Cardi B - was seen being tended to by her glam squad off-stage in the clip.

However, she starts talking over someone’s shoulder to point at Justin and say something to him, before he walks away.

However, Variety quickly reported shortly afterwards there was ‘no bad blood’ between them - and in fact, the meeting was actually rather sweet.

“He said, ‘It’s so nice to meet you,’” the source explained.

“And she said ‘No, no this don’t count, this don’t count. We gotta meet proper.’

“It was very cute.”

Justin's appearance at the VMAs sent fans into meltdown as he reunited with his NSYNC bandmates for the first time in a decade.

While the group did not confirm or deny any reunion plans, it’s been heavily rumored they will be releasing their first new song in 21 years for upcoming movie, Trolls Band Together.

It’s believed the entire group - completed by  JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass, and Joey Fatone - will be voicing characters in the film.

However, due to the SAG-AFTRA strikes, the group would not have been able to promote the movie (and therefore the song) at the VMAs.
