Reality TV star Mama June Shannon has hit back to criticism after posting a controversial TikTok video where she lifted her skirt to show her husband, Justin Stroud, her "gobbler."

Amid her daughter Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell's battle with stage four adrenal carcinoma, Shannon addressed an Instagram troll who suggested she focus on her daughter's struggle.

In her response, Shannon revealed the ongoing emotional toll the situation takes on her and emphasized that her social media activity doesn't reflect her level of care and support for her daughter.

Shannon responded to a commenter who suggested she focus more on her daughter instead of social media, “Well let me school you just a little bit. We speak almost on a daily basis.”

“Life doesn’t stop even though some days it feels like I’m living in a dream with all this, it’s a daily struggle for me [mentally] and [emotionally] to deal with and sometime [sic] to get through the day,” Shannon continued.

Despite the criticism, Shannon emphasizes her unbreakable commitment to her daughter's well-being, highlighting that her online persona doesn't reflect her dedication as a mother.

Even with the ongoing challenges she faces with her daughter's cancer diagnosis, Shannon maintains her presence on social media, explaining that it offers a temporary escape from her reality.

She said to her critics on Instagram, “At the end of [the day], there is nothing we can change about the situation. I needed a break from reality for a minute even though it’s in the front of my mind every second of every single day so me posting on social media doesn’t mean I don’t care or ain’t there for her during this.”

Chickadee's battle with cancer has been marked by uncertainty.

Shannon expressed the family's lack of clarity regarding life expectancy due to the aggressive nature of the cancer.

After undergoing rounds of chemotherapy, Cardwell's condition was deemed terminal, yet she remains strong.

Shannon's commitment to her children extends beyond Chickadee, including her other daughters, Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon, Lauryn "Pumpkin" Efird, and Alanna "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson.

Relocating from Alabama to Georgia, Shannon's decision to move back signifies her unwavering support for her family during these challenging times.

Shannon emphasized again to her detractors that she is there for her family during this trying time,  stating that walking through this cancer battle is the hardest thing she’s even gone through, including her own addiction to drugs.
