Lisa Vanderpump calls out Bethenny Frankel's 'lies' as she kicks off BravoCon

Lisa Vanderpump began the 2023 BravoCon by expressing her gratitude for her successful television career and extended her thanks to NBC and Bravo.

Just hours before the three-day fan convention commenced, Lisa made her thoughts on fellow Real Housewives star Bethenny Frankel’s claims about the network.

She also revealed the networks had been taking “so much cr*p lately from so many people that you know used to work for them,” adding that is was “a shame”.

Lisa did not clarify who exactly she was referring to, but former New York City Housewife Bethenny Frankel made a series of allegations against Bravo in recent months.

Former Vanderpump Rules star Rachel Raquel Leviss joined Bethenny on her podcast this summer and claimed she "hadn't seen a penny" for appearing in the reality TV show.

“It occurs to me that you are the villain. Ariana [Madix] is the hero. Tom is another character who doesn’t take the hit as much as you in this scandal of all. But you’re right, the realm is making a lot of money and now it took three of you in a recipe to create the scandal,” Bethenny told Raquel on iHeartRadio’s ReWives podcast back on August 16.

Seemingly addressing these and other explosive claims ahead of the fan convention, Lisa blasted the “lies” being said about Bravo and NBC.

Addressing Raquel’s departure from the show, Lisa said: “I think she should’ve come back and spoken to me.

“And when I say [it would have been] a safe place, I am not putting it out there that it would be anything ever less than safe, but it would be nobody interrupting [her].

“Where she could’ve had a conversation and really shared her thoughts because I would be ready to hear that. And I would’ve liked to have seen the growth.”

About Bethenny’s claims, Lisa added to Us Weekly: “You know, she went off somewhere for three months, but I don’t like the lies that are coming about Bravo and NBC and Bethenny saying, ‘Oh, she got paid like an intern.’

“And me saying, ‘No, she got a few hundred thousand dollars, that’s not true.’ And her turning around saying, ‘Oh, that’s a lie.’ No, it’s not, it’s factual — that’s how much you got paid.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star previously said Raquel earned $361,000 during season 10 of the show.

“I think she got very well paid,” The 62-year-old TV star added to TMZ.
