Lil Nas X savagely shuts down claims tampon Halloween costume 'mocked women'
Lil Naz X found himself under fire over his bizarre Halloween costume, and he is not taking accusations that he was mocking women lightly.

Lil Nas X found himself being dragged on social media after choosing a bizarre Halloween costume.
The 24-year-old rapper dressed as a bloody used tampon for his 2023 outfit.
In a video posted to Instagram, the Montero rapper wore a white padded dress that is dyed red at top, but gets lighter as it goes down the dress.
He paired the look with white high heeled boots and a blonde wig.
The look was completed with the rapper dragging a long white string.

His costume left both fans and critics to question his choice.
“Lil nas x dressing up as a bloody tampon is the most annoying thing I've seen tonight. He does nothing except romanticize things that give women pain,” wrote one fan.
While another said: “Gay men often think they can get a pass without realizing they can be equally misogynistic… it's not up to cis men to make light of things like this.”

One of the loudest criticisms came from controversial media personality Oli London - who originally found fame online for declaring himself 'transracial' before undergoing a multitude of surgeries in order to look like K-Pop singer Jimin from BTS.
London wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Singer Lil Nas mocks women by dressing as a giant bloody tampon for Halloween. His Instagram post received almost 500,000 likes.”
In a repost of what he wrote on X, Lil Nas X fired back in the most savage way.
“my brother in xenu, u had surgery to look south korean for the rest of your life, i was a c**t tampon for 1 halloween. please perish.”
Fans were quick to agree with the Old Town Road rapper.
“He ain’t lying,” wrote one fan.
“Perish is crazy,” wrote another.
A tampon was not the only Halloween costume Lil Nas X broke out this season. He also posted photos of himself dressed up like Little Richard, which of course was way less controversial.
