A-listers Kristen Bell and husband Dax Shepard spent $600 making themselves comfortable when caught out by a delayed flight, only to be kicked out of the airport minutes later.

The power couple along with their two children couldn’t find any available hotels within a 50-mile radius when their flight out of’s Logan International Airport was delayed by seven hours.

They thought they’d make the best of it and bought a pile of bedding to make the night a little more comfortable. Posting on social media, Shepard wrote, “Stranded at the Boston airport, seven hours of delays”

They passed the time playing Uno and Spades before settling down into their makeshift beds. On his reel he posted: “ZERO vacancies in the greater Boston area”.

Bell even followed her usual ritual of taking her shoes off before entering her makeshift ‘bedroom’. “Could have been really nice hotel but they’re all taken”, said Shepard.

“It’s $600 a night to stay at Boston International Airport”, Bell replied.

However, they claim they were "kicked out" despite having nowhere to go for the night.

Are you allowed to sleep in the airport?

Whether or not you can sleep in an airport depends on the airport in question. Some airports allow and even encourage sleeping.

Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris offers a lunge with 50 flay lounge chairs passengers can sleep on.

Dubai airports has recliners for travelers too, and paid sleep lounges.

However, some airports close a night while others don't permit airport sleepers.

At any rate, security always reserve the right to ask people to leave the airport at any time, without notice.
