Kevin Costner's ex-wife Christine Baumgartner has reportedly been comforted by the fact that his new girlfriend isn't a 'fame-seeking bimbo'.

Kevin Costner's ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner, has reportedly admitted that it's “bittersweet” to see him dating again just three months after their divorce.
She reportedly shared her feelings with a friend, who then spilled the beans to DailyMail.com.
Kevin, 68, was recently snapped getting cozy with singer Jewel, 49, on Richard Branson's Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands.
According to the report, Christine is relieved that Hollywood star Kevin's new flame isn't a “fame-seeking bimbo”, but someone more “down-to-earth”.
An insider revealed: "Christine said she's not surprised that Kevin has moved on so quickly, but he didn't need to make it so obvious by wrapping his arms around her.

"She said she's happy for him, but it still isn't a great feeling seeing your ex with someone new."
Christine and Kevin ended their 19-year marriage when she filed for divorce last May. The couple then spent several months hashing out the terms of their divorce in court.
A friend of Christine's revealed: "She could never have imagined he and Jewel dating, but in retrospect it makes sense."
They added: "They're both into music, into that cowboy thing. What's not to like about her? At least Jewel is a down-to-earth person and has her own thing going on."

"Christine said the last thing she wanted was for some fame seeker to come along and play mom to their three children. But Jewel has a son of her own, she has her own life and isn't a gold digger. So that's a relief."
Kevin and Christine are parents to three kids, Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13.
Their divorce was finalized on September 19 with a judge enforcing their 18-year-old prenup.
If Christine disagreed, she would have had to pay over $1 million plus Kevin's legal fees.
A spokesperson for the couple shared a joint statement with Mirror: "Kevin and Christine Costner have come to an amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues pertaining to their divorce proceedings."
