Kanye West is set to make a return to music with new solo album

Kanye West is 'truly great headspace' as he sets to make a return to music with a new solo album.

Kim Kardashian opens up about drama with Kanye West

hasn't only been filling his time with making headlines with his "wife" Bianca Censori; he's reportedly hard at work making new music.

Sources connected to the production told TMZ Hip Hop that Ye is in a "truly great headspace" and has been writing songs at a rapid pace, completing nearly 10 tracks this week alone.

It's been more than 2 years since West released new tunes, with 2021's Donda being his last project.

Since then, the rapper has dealt with a couple of lows, including splitting from his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, and being terminated from his partnership with Adidas and others after making antisemitic remarks.

According to TMZ, West's new music and themes will be closer to the "old Kanye" sound "with less political theatrics than some of his recent endeavors."

His frequent collaborator Ty Dolla $ign has also been helping out in the studio, which could also mean they'll create a joint album in addition to West's solo project.

Fans went into a frenzy on Tuesday after a leak of Ye's Dr. Dre collaboration album Jesus Is King 2 made it's way onto the internet.

West has kept mostly silent since last year's antisemitic rants that cost him several business partnerships and his billionaire status.

Adidas ended its partnership with Ye with “immediate effect" after the comments surfaced.

In a statement, they said it “does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech” and said that West's comments were “unacceptable, hateful and dangerous.”

Adidas also said they violated the company’s “values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.”

Sales and production of his Yeezy branded products were stopped as well as payments to Ye and his companies.

Adidas took a $246 million hit to its fourth quarter sales.

Gap also cut ties with the rapper.

Around the time of the partnership cut, Ye said: “I can say antisemitic s*** and Adidas cannot drop me,” during a tirade against Jews on the Drink Champs Podcast.

He also threatened on X, formerly known as Twitter, to “Go death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.”

With the frenzy that the Dr. Dre leak caused, though, it would seem fans are still thristy for more Kanye West music.

TMZ was told there's no imminent release date for Ye's new tunes.

He's apparently taking his time with the album in order to emulate his older music and boost its quality as his reputation is on the line.
