President Joe Biden appeared to be guided off stage by his wife after he appeared to be lost.

The 80-year-old had been speaking at a Human Rights Campaign dinner when he was joined after his speech by the First Lady. The president can be seen on videos from the event turning one direction and waving at the audience.

Jill then leads him in the opposite direction, reports the MailOnline. Both Joe and Jill addressed crowds in Washington to discuss LGBTQ+ rights across the globe.

"Extreme MAGA Republicans in Congress are trying to undo virtually every bit of progress we’ve made," Joe said.

While the president was speaking he was interrupted by a Pro-Palestinian activist that shouted "Let Gaza live" and "Ceasefire now". As the interruption took place, the politician interjected and said he could not hear.

After he finished speaking, Jill appeared on stage to chaperone the president. It comes after a number of videos emerged showing him stumbling or appearing disoriented.

Before the speech, Biden walked into a seven-foot Brazilian flag. Days earlier he appeared to stumble on the stairs while addressing crowds in Philadelphia.

The president has a history of falling over. In March 2021 he tripped while boarding Air Force One.

The-then 78-year-old managed to steady himself and kept going before losing his footing again, and again. He then almost fell over while boarding the aircraft in May 2022.

In June 2022, he fell off his bike while riding in Reboth Beach, Delaware. He had stopped in front of a group of reporters when he toppled over.

He also tripped while walking down stairs at the Itsukushima Shrine in Japan. On this occasion however the president managed to continue as if nothing had happened.
