'Biden has invited major terror threats into the US and now there is a new problem'

EXCLUSIVE: America risks a major crisis if serious consideration is not taken to border restrictions in light of the escalating war between Israel and Hamas, says Peggy Grande.

Congress has a lot of dumb ideas.

While there are many Members of Congress who are both well-educated and smart (those being two entirely different qualities) there are others who appear to be at the head of the class when it comes to stupid ideas. Among them being Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), a Member of “the Squad”, who not only recently pulled the fire alarm in the Capitol claiming he thought it would open the door, but has called for the United States to bring refugees from Gaza to the US to be resettled here. Many in America would quote their president and say, “Don’t”. Just “Don’t”.

So, let’s get this straight – Rep. Bowman and his progressive sidekicks want to bring unvetted people to the US from a region engaged in active conflict against one of America’s closest allies – all while American hostages are still being held by Hamas in that very area? What a terrible idea!

There is near universal compassion for people who suffer – regardless of where they live, who their government is, or what their ethnicity is. Especially when it comes to children, the elderly, or innocent civilians. They are victims, caught in a tragic situation. Yet that doesn’t mean the American taxpayer is obligated to feed, shelter, clothe, educate, and medically support Palestinian refugees, nor does it mean the American taxpayer should be forced to live beside people from a part of the world that may have raised them to hate America, American values, and the American way of life.

During his brief visit to Israel, Joe Biden was very generous with the taxpayers’ money and in front of the Israelis announced that he was giving $100 Million to support humanitarian needs in Gaza. Not Israel. With that money available now, the nearby Arab nations should be able to absorb and care for any refugees from Gaza, not America. Predictably, we are seeing that Arab nations do not want to take any of these refugees in either. It appears they, too, fear extremists will be among the innocent.

The story of the Palestinians is a tragic one, as many have not wanted to live under the brutal leadership of Hamas. But from the time they are young, Palestinians are indoctrinated to hate the West. While it does not mean that every Palestinian feels this way, can this truly and accurately be vetted? Can it be erased from a mindset or ideology? Should this hostile worldview just be ignored? Peaceful, good intentions assumed? It seems unlikely those opinions would change overnight if they were brought stateside.

Unfortunately, right here in America, schools in many places are also teaching American kids to hate this nation. Perhaps this is why our academic achievement is so low as some schools focus on indoctrination rather than education and is why recruiting for the military is currently so difficult. Why would people voluntarily sign up to defend a nation they feel is systemically racist or otherwise fundamentally flawed?

Americans watched with concern and disgust as rallies popped up all over the nation in big cities last week and continue to build. Screaming mobs with signs and megaphones shouted their support for Hamas and celebrated the slaughter of Jewish men, women, soldiers, grandmothers, and even children, in Israel. Their passion for what they believe is intense, loud, unsettling, and intimidating.

Regardless of politics or which side someone is on, celebrating the death of civilians is truly horrifying. Some protestors say their point of view or “their truth” is different than others. Regardless, it is hard to imagine the depths of hatred in a heart that would cheer the beheading of a baby.

We need less of this, not more.

Americans by nature are tolerant, trusting, philanthropic, and generous, more so than most places in the world. And now we should add foolish to that list of traits as well. Not just for entertaining the idea of bringing people who hate us to live among us, but for turning a blind eye to the people we have already allowed to enter our country unvetted through our wide-open southern border. At this point, America’s national security needs to supersede any humanitarian gestures stateside.

Biden’s own Customs and Border Patrol has expressed extreme concern over their inability to do thorough background checks on people coming across the border from “special interest countries”. By their own definition, special interest countries are those “having conditions that promote or protect terrorism, or that may pose a threat to US national security.” Anyone coming from Gaza would fit under this designation. And unless they are on a federal watchlist or previously committed a crime in the US, there is no way to know who they are and what their intentions are once they arrive.

And this is not just a few individuals. In the past two years under Joe Biden’s failed leadership, border agents have apprehended 6,386 foreign nationals from Afghanistan, 3,153 from Egypt, 659 from Iran and 538 from Syria, along with 12,624 from Uzbekistan, 30,830 from Turkey, 1,613 from Pakistan, 164 from Lebanon, 185 from Jordan, 123 from Iraq and 15,594 from Mauritania. The government will not say how many have been removed vs. released into the United States. For perspective, 19 terrorists were involved in the 9/11 attacks on America. It only takes a handful of these nearly 72,000 illegal entries to have ill will toward America to threaten our nation.

No wonder we see rioting on the streets which seems favorable to the actions of Hamas and is anti-American and anti-Semitic. We have invited many of these people into our country without demanding anything in return, including pledging their allegiance to the US, vowing to uphold the Constitution, and promising to promote, defend, and protect our way of life. As a result, this is what we get.

I fear that as dangerous as the United States and the world is today, the worst of Joe Biden’s legacy of policy failures is yet to come. He has let thousands of people into America who hate America and want to see it destroyed. Rather than the main threats being from outside our borders now, as frightening as those are, I fear Joe Biden has already invited our biggest threats in.

We are already providing hospitality to many who seek to eradicate us. No thank you to adding to that number today – or anytime soon. Just “Don’t.”
