'Biden's failures have caused a cascade of global catastrophes - and Taiwan could be next'

EXCLUSIVE: The United States needs a new leader to end Joe Biden's "Chaos Thru Weakness" and push back evil forces around the world, says Peggy Grande.

What the world saw take place in Israel last week was barbaric, heartbreaking, and sinister. A tragedy beyond comprehension, with more bloodshed and violence still ahead in Gaza – as Israel makes Hamas pay for their brief, but brutal, reign of terror. The Israeli response won’t be brief, nor will it be equal. Prime Minister Netanyahu has promised it will be unequivocal, thorough, and will completely reshape the future of that region by totally eradicating Hamas. He has no other choice.

What is most troubling about this disaster is that it didn’t have to occur. Nor did the invasion of Ukraine. Or the fall of Afghanistan. The common denominator of these catastrophes?  Joe Biden. American weakness. An erosion of our relationship with our closest ally in the Middle East, Israel. And a vacuum of presidential leadership which has given rise to evil and aggression worldwide.

Donald Trump recently claimed that “the atrocities we are witnessing in Israel would have never happened if I was still president”. Much of the world agrees and acknowledges that a strong U.S. president makes the world safer.

We continue to see the wake of evil which follows Biden weakness and know that until the occupant of the White House changes, nothing will improve in the world, and unfortunately, more calamities will likely arise. We hope among them is not China’s advance upon Taiwan.

But don’t worry – the White House says they “Stand with Israel” and has lit up the White House blue and white as a show of support. That light display surely has Hamas shaking in their boots.

And Biden said he has one word for “anyone who thinks of taking advantage of this situation”. That word – “Don’t”. Again, not exactly a strong deterrent for hate-filled terrorists filled with rage and motivated to kill Jews.

Slogans, activism, symbolism, or denial can’t stop evil. Only principled resolve and power can.

“Peace Thru Strength” was the guiding principle for Ronald Reagan’s foreign policy.  It was successful because it focused not only on military might, but on economic stability as well.  Under Reagan, America had both. The Cold War was won. The world became a safer place, and the nation became more prosperous.

“Chaos Thru Weakness” appears to be what Joe Biden’s foreign policy legacy will be. His policy failures have created a cascade of catastrophes around the world.

But getting things wrong is the only thing this White House gets right.  They gave Putin a green light in Ukraine when they indicated a “small incursion” would be tolerated. Putin seized the opportunity and marched into Ukraine determined to take more than a little

They said it was not inevitable that Afghanistan would fall.  Then were surprised by the “unexpected speed” at which the situation there devolved. They said no Americans would be left behind – then said they had no idea how many were left behind – and had no plan for evacuating them.

Now they don’t know how many Americans are being held in Gaza – or where they are.  And the White House has said there is “no decision” yet on how to respond to this hostage situation.

The consequences of Joe Biden’s actions and policies are deadly and disastrous because his worldview is wrong.

Decisions can’t be made based on the worldview of think tanks and academia.  The world is a dangerous place and has bad people in it.  Naiveté doesn’t alter reality. The world isn’t how Biden wants it to be or how he thinks it is or wishes it was. It needs to be dealt with for what it is and requires more than the Obama-era mindset of appeasement toward enemies of the West – like Hamas.  And Iran.

America should not try to befriend Iran.  Their loyalty cannot be bought.  They hate America and want it to cease to exist.  They cannot be negotiated with. Yet the Biden administration continues to try to curry favor through giving them money, begging to get back into the JCPOA, and via the baffling unwillingness to blame Iran for any part of Hamas’s actions last week in Israel.  The verbal gyrations the Biden administration is going through to avoid criticism of Iran is inexplicable.

In addition, Americans should demand the White House account for the nearly 75,000 “special interest aliens” from the Middle East who have been allowed to illegally cross the southern border from Syria, Yemen, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Egypt, Pakistan, Mauritania, Uzbekistan, and Turkey.

Even Democrat Mayor Eric Adams has warned New Yorkers to stay vigilant.  To look for lone wolves and, “say something if you see something.”  He knows the open border policy of this administration, and his own party, has made his city, and the nation, less safe.  With pro-Palestine rallies in the streets and on the college campuses in NY, he, along with many residents, feel uneasy and are justifiably concerned.

The attack in Israel last weekend was a massive security failure which took place in arguably one of the most secure nations on earth, known for its advanced intelligence capabilities. If they couldn’t keep their people safe, can Biden keep Americans safe? Could we do anything to prevent China from invading Taiwan? Or assist if they did?

The world is watching as Joe Biden faces this latest test.  It’s one he can’t afford to fail but is unlikely to pass.  Unfortunately, the consequences will be felt not only by America, but by the world as well. The dots of international disaster continue to connect right back to Joe Biden.
