Democrats are making Biden walk the political plank for the second time, says Peggy Grande

Donald Trump was a shoo-in for re-election in 2020 so the Democrats picked a no-hoper in Joe Biden intending to concentrate on the 2024 Presidential election. However, Covid struck and all bets were off. Will the Democrats allow Biden to stand again? asks Peggy Grande.

Joe Biden is walking the political plank for the second time - and this time the Democrats are going to saw it off behind him. The first time was leading up to the election in 2020.

Trump was untouchable. The economy was roaring. The border was closed. Crime, interest rates, and inflation were under control. Unemployment across every sector was low. America wasn't actively engaged in any foreign wars. Regulations were being cut so businesses were expanding and people were building and innovating again.

Americans were watching their 401Ks grow and their taxes shrink. The nation was booming in every good way.

Half the nation hated President Trump even though they were benefitting from his policies too, but the other half, as well as much of the world, felt more safe, more prosperous, and more secure under President Trump’s watch.

The Democrats knew they couldn’t beat Trump in 2020 and didn’t want to put up one of their future party leaders for a humiliating loss, so they nominated Joe Biden.

A tethered goat for the party – he was asked to walk the political plank.

He had no political future, and the Democrats had no use for him.

So, he would take one for the team. He probably didn’t even know what he signed up for. The party would regroup and try again in 2024 with someone younger, fresher, and future-oriented. Someone who they thought could win.

Then Covid hit.

The game changed entirely. And we know the rest. The Democrat party – and the nation – were stuck with a candidate, turned President, that was meant to be discarded.

And two and half years later we all know why.

The Biden presidency has been a disaster on every front and in every category and metric. Everything that was working under Trump is broken under Biden. Not accidentally, but intentionally. He undid everything Trump did.

And we all are facing the consequences – with nearly two more long years still ahead to endure.

But now, as the walls are beginning to close in around Joe Biden, we see the beginnings of the Democrat party starting to steer Joe Biden once again to the plank and have him walk it again.

This time, though, they will not protect him, but will push him.

Out of contention for 2024 and potentially out of office as well. He was a liability, not an asset in 2020, and he has aged like expired milk, not fine wine.

We are already beginning to see the cracks in the proverbial dam. The left, which is always accusing the right of white privilege, is now seeing that the Biden family themselves has been the recipients of incredible privilege and top cover by unequal application of the law.  It’s hard to justify.

And with the Hunter Biden sweetheart plea deal now unraveling, they can no longer defend an agreement that is outside the bounds of any precedent for similar charges.

Increasingly the entanglement between Joe and Hunter Biden’s business dealings is harder to deny.

Even the White House Spokeswoman, Karine Jean Pierre, recently changed her language to accommodate newly exposed evidence saying, “The President is not in business with his son” versus her past statements which said that the President has not ever talked about his son’s overseas business dealings.

Nearly an admission that what had been said previously was not entirely true.

Of course, Joe Biden’s missteps – both verbally and physically – are increasingly difficult for the left to ignore.

They know it’s problematic though because we’ve now seen Joe Biden in tennis shoes and using the lower stairs onto Air Force One, both strategic moves to try and avoid further stumbles.

And how can the left continue to justify the Biden’s dog, Commander, remaining at the White House?

It was reported this week that he has bitten as many as 10 Secret Service agents.

For anyone else, if your dog bites a federal worker, like a mail carrier, the owner can be fined or brought up on criminal charges.  The dog can even be removed from the home and euthanized over repeat offenses.

How do they justify 10 attacks without the owner, Joe Biden, taking responsibility? Interesting how this is just now being reported, even though many of these attacks occurred a long time ago.

Biden is out giving speeches trying to tout the success of Bidenomics, but it’s not working.

Not only are his small, unenthusiastic audiences not listening to or believing him because it doesn’t align with the truth of their own pocketbook, but the mountain of evidence piling up behind President Biden being compromised and potentially facing impeachment, is increasingly distracting from his message and difficult for voters to ignore.

Even a CNN commentator this week admitted that “some of these charges are serious”. Welcome to reality CNN – it’s about time.

Politically Joe Biden is exposed and is in peril.

Not just because he is in cognitive decline, but due to his shady business dealings which are daily coming to light, along with the wrongdoings of his son, Hunter, who is perhaps more intertwined with his father than was previously known or admitted to.

The Democrats have protected and covered for Joe Biden – until now. As concern and evidence mount, even supporters of the president are worried about his viability as a candidate and his electability.

It appears that the tide is massively shifting - and not in a way that is beneficial to Joe Biden and his presidency.

He is inching toward the political plank once again and by the time he gets there the Democrats will be willing to watch him walk it – and this time will happily nudge him off.
