IDF uncovers Hamas weapons cache in Gaza

The IDF have uncovered one of Hamas’ major weapons sites located near a Gaza school and clinic, the Israeli military confirmed.

Israeli forces seized hundreds of missiles, launchers, long-range rockets, RPGs, drones, and explosive devices.

A video posted to social media on Wednesday by the IDF shows Israeli soldiers loading missiles into trucks and inspecting rows of weapons lined up on a tarp.

The rocket store was the “largest stockpile of weapons” found in the Gaza Strip, according to the IDF.

Fighters in the 460th brigade of the 50th battalion located the treasure trove near a school and clinic in northern Gaza.

The IDF said all of the terrorist infrastructure was found near civilian buildings in the heart of civilian Gaza.

The IDF wrote in a post on X: “This is further proof of the cynical use that the terrorist organization Hamas makes of the residents of the Gaza Strip as a human shield.”

It comes as Israel’s military said it struck “approximately 250 terror targets in the Gaza Strip” in the last day.

The IDF said: “IDF troops are continuing to locate weapons, underground shafts, explosives and additional military infrastructure, and direct fighter jets to strike terror targets.”

Daniel Hagari, IDF spokesman, also issued a “call for action” on Wednesday, saying that the Red Cross must be able to visit the 138 hostages remaining in Hamas custody.

But Hamas has refused to allow the Red Cross to visit the hostages.

Hagari said: “This is an urgent call for action. The international community must take action. The Red Cross must have access to the hostages that are in the hands of Hamas.”
