Get into the holiday spirit this Thanksgiving by making a sweet apple cider punch, a drink that is both delicious and will help warm yourself up on a chilly day.

Apple cider punch is a very simple cocktail that blends the taste of apples, pumpkin spice, and cinnamon, making it the perfect drink as fall comes to an end.

The version of this drink was developed by Hannah Ann Sluss, an American television personality and cook who is known for winning The Bachelor in 2020.

This recipe also does not require alcohol if you do not wish to add it, but Hannah has said you can “easily” spike your punch by adding champagne or a shot of vodka.

In a video online, Hahhas said: “Let’s make Thanksgiving punch for the holidays. I made this the other week and it turned out so cute and festive.”

Instructions

To begin, prepare your ingredients. Wash the fruit, and slice the apples and oranges.

Then add a bowl of cranberries to your punch bowl. Place the sliced oranges on top of the cranberries and then add both your sliced red and green apples.

Add both your apple cider and ginger ale until the punch bowl is around three-quarters full.

Place a dash of cinnamon and some pumpkin spice into the punch bowl and use a spoon to thoroughly combine all the ingredients together.

You can also add a shot of vodka or a glass of champagne to the mixture at this point if you would prefer to make it alcoholic.

To serve, take some sugar and place it on a plate.

Dip the mouth of a glass into the sugar until the rim is fully covered, and then garnish with a cinnamon stick and a slice of orange.

Your festive Thanksgiving drink is now ready to serve and enjoy.
