Honey Boo Boo's big sister praises 'beautiful' star as she graduates high school
Honey Boo Boo aka Alana Thompson gained fame on TLC's Toddlers And Tiaras.
Alana Thompson, 17, couldn't contain her grin as she received her diploma from Wilkinson County High School in McIntyre, Georgia at the weekend.
Honey Boo Boo was joined by several of her loved ones during the celebratory event including her sister Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Efird, and 'Mama' June Shannon.
Efird, who received full custody of Thompson last year, took to Instagram to share her congratulations to her youngest sibling.
The 23-year-old reality television star also included a video of her sister walking the stage and receiving her diploma.
She wrote: "To say I'm proud would be an understatement. To be there to witness this next chapter I'm amazed.

"Amazed at how much you've grown, how beautiful your soul is, & most importantly how far you've come against all odds."
The reality television figure also wrote that she would remain a constant supporter of her younger sister well into the future.
The TLC star continued: "To hear your name be called & to watch you walk im honored truly. I can't wait to see what this next chapter in your life holds.
"Please always know I'm your biggest fan & always & forever gonna be screaming the loudest for you. I love you Lana."

Shannon also showed a video of her daughter walking to the stage, admitting she was "hollering the whole time".
She also wrote a comment on her own post and added: "Yall know I screamed work it smoochie one last time." (sic)
The reality television personality, who gained fame on TLC's Toddlers And Tiaras, previously publicized her graduation by sharing an Instagram post last month.
The TLC star included several shots of herself posing around her school's campus while preparing for the end of her days as a student.
Sharing her excitement for her chapter, the young reality star penned: "I am so proud of myself and how far I have become. There were points that I didn’t even think I would make it this far but I made it."
Alana first came to fame at the age of six on Toddlers And Tiaras in 2012, and stayed on the show for a year.
She was then on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo from 2012 to 2014.
Mama June: From Not to Hot – which focused on her mother's body transformation journey – aired from 2017 until 2020.
