Overnight oats are a cheap, filling and fast recipe to make before a busy day - and it only takes five minutes.

The healthy dish is so easy to make and can be made in a variety of ways based on your preference. You can really get creative and pick your choice of favorite fruits and seeds to throw together, whether you want anti-inflammatory fruits like pomegranates or blueberries to reverse bloating or fiberous foods like chia and flax seeds to keep you full. All you need is oats, your milk of choice, yogurt and your toppings of choice.

Gwyneth Paltrow shared a few of her favorite variations in her cookbook, “It’s All Easy,” including her creamy orange overnight oats that provide the perfect punch of vitamin C, which is needed more than ever as winter approaches.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup oats

  • 1/3 cup milk of choice

  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon orange juice

  • 1 tablespoon shredded coconut

  • 1 tablespoon toasted slivered almonds

  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon orange zest

  • Pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Add your oats to your preferred jar.
  2. Top with your milk of choice.
  3. Mix everything together until all the oats are submerged in milk.
  4. Refrigerate overnight and you can grab it on your way out the door the next morning!
