'I found $200 Nike sneakers for only $65 at Goodwill and you can too but there's a catch'

Goodwill hauls are increasingly popular on platforms like TikTok with shoppers making big savings.

A young man is sharing how he was able to buy must-have $200 Nike sneakers for only $65 while shopping at Goodwill.

Thrifting has become a popular trend on social media with shoppers breaking down the various savings and deals they can make.

One such shopper is TikToker and YouTuber Cam (@cameron.browser) who makes videos documenting the deals he comes across.

The content creator revealed to his followers that he found a pair of Nike Air Foamposite One Stealth 2012 sneakers.

While they cost $200 at traditional retailers, he found this pair at Goodwill selling for only $65.

In a video captioned: "Almost missing a SNEAKER GRAIL at Goodwill!", the thrifty shopper broke down how he discovered this deal.

According to Cam, he was “extremely lucky” to find this type of sneakers while thrifting at the store.

The TikToker shared: “I walked in and saw a pair of black foamposites sitting on the back shelf behind the cashiers. These are worth over $200."

In the video, Cam added a screenshot of the same shoes selling on eBay for a much more expensive price of $219.99.

However, the thrift shopper highlighted that he almost missed out on this deal due to where the Nike sneakers were hidden in Goodwill.

He explained: “Catch is I had to wait in line before I could get my hands on them. Sure enough the lady in front of me asked to see them.

“Yeah, she ended up passing on them so you know I had to check them out.”

In the clip, Cam asserted that the Nike shoes were 100 authentic and retailed originally for $124.99.

While he acknowledged that the cost was a “little steep”, the bargain hunter was able to get a 50 discount thanks to a Goodwill savings hack.

At the second-hand store chain, tags on items are color-coded and each color is discounted every five weeks.

Cam added: “But guess what the color of the week was blue so I was able to snag these for only $65.”

He then showed that he sold the sneakers for $199.99 on July 13th with a screenshot of the eBay page.
